Ahearn Charlie Ahearn directed in 1979 a super 8 kung fu movie, The Deadly Art of Survival. In 1980, Ahearn began working with Fred Brathwaite and Lee Quinones on the hip-hop classic Wild Style, which was first screened in 1982. After producing a number of artist portrait videos (on Kiki Smith, Tom Otterness, John Ahearn, among others), Charlie Ahearn wrote and directed the feature film, Fear of Fiction.
